Recumbent Stationary Bike

A recumbent bike is a great option if you have limited mobility as it puts less stress on your upper body, joints, and lower back. It’s also a safer option for older adults, those who struggle with joint injuries, back pain or even those new to exercise.

With a recumbent bike your body is fully supported, which can make your workout less intense. This type of bike features a lower seat to the ground, placed further back, and reclined. You sit in a comfortable reclined position on a seat that’s positioned back from the pedals.

There is less stress on your upper body, joints, and lower back when riding a bike this kind of stationary bike. You can train less intensely as your muscles are protected resulting in less fatigue and muscle soreness after your workout.

Fan Bike- Different Bikes to Keep Fit!

A less common type of stationary bike is a fan bike. It’s generally less expensive in comparison to other types of stationary bikes. There are no preprogrammed options with this bike rather the fan serves as resistance as you pedal. The faster and harder you pedal, the more resistance you generate.

A dual-action bike doesn’t actually look like your regular road bicycle. It features handlebars that move back and forth to help target your upper body muscles. It’s great for full body workouts as well. So, while you’re pedaling and working your legs, you’re also able to get a great upper body workout.
